General distribution: Asiatropical. The Caucasus, Middle East, Egypt, Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Yemen, India and Australia.

Distribution in Israel: All over Mediterranean part.

Period of flight in Israel: August–November.

Host plants: Potamogeton perfoliatus ( Potamogetonaceae ).
