General distribution: Mediterranean–Iranian. South and Central Europe, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Turkey, Middle East, Transcaucasia, Iran and Turkmestan. Distribution in Israel: Carmel, Upper Golan Heights.
Period of flight in Israel: June–October.
Host plants: Various species of Poaceae .
