General distribution: Eurasiatic. Central and South Europe, Algeria, NorthEast Caucasus, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan and China.

Distribution in Israel: Upper Galilee.

Period of flight in Israel: June–August.

Host plants: Artemisia vulgaris ( Asteraceae ), Thymus serpyllum ( Lamiaceae ), Scrophularia sp. (Scrophulariacea), Gnaphalium sp. , Helichrysum sp. ( Asteraceae ), Thalictrum sp. ( Ranunculaceae ).
