Subspecies: G. h. mariae (Bonhote, 1910).

Distribution: Status uncertain but apparently rare; confined to arid and semi-arid steppe ( Fig. 29 View FIGURE 29 ).

Previous records: Halebiyye, ar-Rasafah, and 70 km to the northwest of at-Tanaf ( Kock 1998).
