Homalogonia grisea Josifov et KERZHNER, 1978
(Fig. l)
Originally described from N. Korea and hitherto known over the Korean Peninsula and NE. China, this species is here recorded from Japan (Tsushima, Kyushu) for the first time. This bug is easily distinguishable from two other Japanese congeners by the smaller body-size, shape of pronotal humeral angle, presence of orange-ochraceous spots on basal lateral corner of scutellum, roundly lamellate abdomen with distinct transverse black bands on connexivum, and so on. The host plants are Ulmus and Zelkova trees ( Ulmaceae ) in Korea ( JOSIFOV and KERZHNER, 1978; KWON et al., 2001).
