Feeds on

Geum montanum L. ( Głowacka 1989), which is one of the confirmed host plants ( Ossiannilsson 1992).

Distribution

General distribution. Northern Europe, mountains in central and south-eastern Europe, Caucasus, southern Siberia and Mongolia ( Gegechkori and Loginova 1990). Distribution in Bulgaria (Fig. 96 View Figure 96 ). Published records: RPP ( Głowacka 1989), without locality data ( Burckhardt and Lauterer 1997 b). Material examined: RPP, RPR.

Diagnosis

Adult and fifth-instar immature. Conci and Tamanini (1985 c), Ossiannilsson (1992).
