Meleonoma bilobata Wang, 2016 , in Yin & Wang 2016: 139 View Cited Treatment . TL: Thailand (Chieng Mai). TD: ZMUC.
Material examined. Yunnan: 12♂ 2♀ , Yexianggu, Xishuangbanna , 762 m, 18–22.VII.2019, leg. KJ Teng et al .; 5♂ 2♀, Bubeng , Mengla County, 680 m, 24–25.VII.2019, leg. KJ Teng et al., slide Nos. Adult ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1−8 ). Forewing length 3.5–5.0 mm.
Diagnosis. The species is similar to M. malacognatha Li & Wang, 2002 in features of the male genitalia. It can be distinguished by the yellow ground color of the forewing ( Fig. 7 View FIGURES 1−8 ), the sacculus bilobed apically and the phallus with a cornutus ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 29−34 ). In M. malacognatha , the ground color of the forewing is yellowish brown, the sacculus is not bilobed apically, and the phallus lacks a cornutus ( Li & Wang 2002: 232, fig. 3).
Female genitalia ( Fig. 48 View FIGURES 45−48 ). Papillae anales sub-quadrate, setose. Apophyses posteriores approximately 1.5 times as long as apophyses anteriores. Eighth sternal plate spiculate; posterior margin deeply concave at middle, lined with long setae, anterior margin straight. Lamella antevaginalis sub-trapezoidal, broadly concave on posterior margin, deeply concave medially on anterior margin. Antrum sub-rectangular. Ductus bursae long, membranous, uniform in width except slightly narrower anteriorly; ductus seminalis arising from ductus bursae near entrance of corpus bursae. Corpus bursae shorter than ductus bursae, ovate; signum ovate, with small and large spines, apical spine largest.
Distribution. China (Yunnan), Thailand.
Note. The species is newly recorded from China and its female is described for the first time.
