Material examined. CHINA, Xizang: 1♂ 1♀, Shenhu, Jilong Town , Jilong County, 2772 m, 11.VII.2019, leg. MJ Qi & JQ Deng, slide No. ZXJ19355 ♂ ; 1♂, Chongse Village, Jilong Town , Jilong County, 2640 m, leg. MJ Qi & JQ Deng, slide No. ZXJ19336 .

Adult ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9−16 ). Forewing length 5.0–6.0 mm.

Diagnosis. Meleonoma montana is similar to M. facialis Li & Wang, 2002 in structures of the male genitalia. It can be distinguished by the absence of dark scales on the third segment of the labial palpus ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9−16 ), and the sacculus with a lobate upper process ( Fig. 36 View FIGURES 35−40 ). In M. facialis , the third segment of the labial palps has dark scales, and the sacculus has a rounded upper process ( Li & Wang 2002: 230, fig.1).

Distribution. China (Xizang), Nepal.

Note. The species is newly recorded from China.
