Acosmetides dilobosa Chang, Wang & Shi, 2021 View in CoL , European Journal of Taxonomy, 751: 144.

Description. Female. Body small. Head. Fastigium verticis conical, with longitudinal sulcus on dorsum, apex rounded. Eyes ovoid, protruding forwards and outwards. Apical segment of maxillary palpus faintly longer than subapical one, apical area slightly inflated. Thorax. Anterior margin of pronotum straight, posterior margin rounded; lateral lobe longer than high, humeral sinus absent ( Fig. 4A–B View FIGURE 4 ).

Tegmina and wings. Tegmina short, completely covered by pronotum, invisible in lateral view. Hind wings absent. Legs. All femora without spines on ventral surfaces. Fore coxa with 1 spine, fore tibial tympana open on both sides, fore tibia with 5 pairs of medium-long spines and 1 pair of short apical spurs on ventral surface. Middle tibia with 5 external and 4 internal medium-long spines on ventral surface, with 1 pair of short ventral apical spurs. Hind tibia with 26–32 short spines on both sides of dorsal surface separately, bearing 1 pair of dorsal apical spurs and 2 pairs of ventral apical spurs. Abdomen. Lateral areas of ninth abdominal tergite extending backwards, ventral margin of base bearing a short process with rounded apex. Posterior margin of tenth abdominal tergite concave; epiproct with posterior margin rounded. Cercus conical ( Fig. 4C View FIGURE 4 ). Ovipositor broad and short, dorsally curved; dorsal margin with fine serrations in middle area, ventral margin of apex with fine serrations ( Fig. 4E View FIGURE 4 ). Subgenital plate with basal margin slightly concave and base broad; narrowing; posterior margin faintly concave in the middle ( Fig. 4D View FIGURE 4 ).

Coloration. Body yellowish brown. Eyes brown. Dorsum of head with 3 broad longitudinal dark brown stripes. Disc of pronotum with a broad longitudinal brown stripe. Dorsal surface of abdomen brown, ventro-lateral surface dark brown. Outer surface of hind femur with some parallel transverse brown stripes, genicular lobes of hind femur blackish brown, spines and spurs of hind tibia brown.

Material examined. Holotype: ♂, Yangmeiao, Rongshui , Guangxi, 9 August, 2015, collected by Baojie Du. Other specimens: 1♂ 2♀, Yangmeiao, Rongshui , Guangxi, 7 August, 2019, collected by Lixuan Chen and Lidan Zhang ; 1♂ 1♀, Jiuwanshan, Rongshui , Guangxi, 22 July, 2023, collected by Wenqing Lv.

Measurements (mm). Body length: ♂ 9.5–11.0, ♀ 9.0–11.0; pronotum length: ♂ 4.3–5.2, ♀ 3.8–4.3; hind femur length: ♂ 9.5–10.3, ♀ 9.6–10.2; ovipositor length: 5.0–5.3.

Discussion. The species was described based on a single male specimen (holotype) from the type locality, Yangmeiao, Rongshui, Guangxi. In recent years, we collected additional specimens of the species from the type locality. These include both male and female specimens. One male is illustrated from a specimen preserved in alcohol ( Fig. 5 View FIGURE 5 ).

Distribution. China (Guangxi).
