Tallos decumbentes, algo pelosos, con pelos glandulares abundantes. Inflorescencia densa, en general con 6 o más flores por verticilastro. Cáliz 4,5-6 mm, rojizo; tubo peloso. Corola generalmente color púrpura.
Pastos secos y melojares, en substratos silíceos, arenosos; 900-1900. V-VII.
