Plantas erectas. Tallos holótricos. Hojas de lanceoladas a obovadas, planas, no ciliadas. Inflorescencia generalmente capituliforme. Brácteas diferentes de las hojas. Cáliz muy peloso, con dientes ± iguales, largamente ciliados.
