China • 1 ♀; Fujian, Wuyishan, Sangang [福建武夷山三港]; alt. 740 m; 1 August 1997; Jian Yao leg.; IZCAS • 1 ♂; Fujian, Wuyishan, Guwankeng [福建武夷山古玩坑]; 8 July 2024; Chen-Qun Wu leg.; CLYQ .

Distribution.

Until now, this species has only been known from Northern Vietnam ( Holzschuh 2021). In the material listed above, Neocerambyx melas is here recorded from China (Fujian) for the first time. This species should be attributed to the pellitus group sensu Miroshnikov (2020 b).
