Distribution. Colombia and Venezuela.
Distribution in Colombia. Boyacá, Chocó, Cundinamarca, and Magdalena.
Remarks. Banasa paraexpallescens is similar to B. expallescens , but B. paraexpallescens has the apex of the paramere obtuse, not acute.
