Currently, the genus Teliphasa View in CoL comprises 15 species ( Nuss et al. 2003 –2025), which are mainly distributed in India ( Hampson 1896a; Ranjan et al. 2022), China, Japan, and Korea ( Liu et al. 2016), and were also reported for the Democratic Republic of the Congo ( Ghesquière 1942). Of these, eight species have been reported from India ( Ranjan et al. 2022; Singh et al. 2022).
