Rhogasella Baker, 1917: 311 View in CoL View at ENA
Type species Rhogasella straminea Baker, 1917: 312–314 .
Both genera Rhogasella Baker and Rogasodes Chen & He are typically made up of slender species with basal part of vein SR of hind wing strongly curved, and vein desclerotized medially and apically ( Figs 4J View FIGURE 4 , 5I View FIGURE 5 , 6D View FIGURE 6 ), both of which are considered derived (apomorphous) character in the subfamily. The baso-ventral keel of the female hypopygium is an additional apomorphous character in Rhogasella but the absence of the medio-basal triangular area of the second tergite ( Figs 2G View FIGURE 2 , 4G View FIGURE 4 , 5E View FIGURE 5 ) is considered to be plesiomorphous, Rogasodes is apomorphous with regard to the presence of the medio-basal triangular area of the second tergite ( Fig. 6A View FIGURE 6 2 View FIGURE 2 ).
