Diagnosis. The forewing length is 10.0–12.0 mm in males and 10.5–13.0 mm in females. Teulisna bipectinis is externally vaguely reminiscent of T. spinulosa but differs in its smaller size, rounded forewing apex, greenish-grey colouration of both wings, the smaller costal spot in male and the lack of it in female, and the cluster of shiny bronze androconial scales on the male forewing (it is ochreous in the congener). The detailed comparison of the genitalia of both sexes of T. bipectinis and T. spinulosa is provided above in the diagnosis of the latter species.
Distribution. The species is known from China (Yunnan, Hunan, Guangxi, Guangdong, and Hainan) ( Fang 2000; Dubatolov et al. 2012), Vietnam (Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, and Thua Thien Hue Provinces) ( Volynkin 2023b), and Northern Thailand (Chiang Mai Province) (present study).
