The T. protuberans species-group
Diagnosis. Members of the species-group are externally similar to the T. differens and T. tricolor species-groups with their forewing having a medial costal protrusion. However, the male genitalia of the T. protuberans species-group are characterised by the broad saccate caselli, which are thin bunch-shaped or absent in other species-groups in the subgenus Poikilothosia subgen. n. Additionally, in the T. protuberans species-group, the phallus is markedly broader than in other congeners, and the distal saccular process is shorter (except for the T. differens species-group).
