Type material. Holotype ( Figs 52 View Figures 49–63 , 123 View Figures 123–125 ): male, “ China, Sichuan-prov. | Mt. Omeishan | 11.–19. Juli [ July ] 2006” / “ Museum Witt ” / “ Slide | CW 00096 ♂ ” [prepared by A. Volynkin] ( MWM / ZSM).

Paratypes. CONTINENTAL CHINA: 1 male, 1 female , same data as in holotype, gen. slide Nos : CW 00094 ♀, CW00095 ♂ [prepared by Volynkin] ( MWM / ZSM) .

Diagnosis. The forewing length is 14.0 mm in males and 15.0 mm in the female. Teulisna omeiana sp. n. is externally reminiscent of T. fimbriata but distinguished by the less prominent costal protrusion of the forewing and the paler, more greyish forewing ground colour with a less contrast pattern. In the male genitalia, the new species is similar to T. fimbriata and T. bucseki sp. n. but distinguished by the broader distal saccular process, the narrower phallus, the lack of the subbasal scobinate diverticulum, the proximal diverticulum bearing a conical cornutus (it is short thorn-shaped with a broad plate-like base in the congeners), the presence of the second, utricular proximal diverticulum, the longer and scobinate medial section of the vesica, and the shorter and narrower distal diverticula bearing longer but thinner cornuti. The female genitalia of T. omeiana sp. n. differ from T. fimbriata and T. bucseki sp. n. in the broader corpus bursae with a more heavily sclerotised lateral protrusion bearing a markedly larger appendix bursae but lacking the sclerotised pocket, which is characteristic of T. fimbriata and T. bucseki sp. n.

Distribution. The new species is currently known only from its type locality in Sichuan Province, Southwest China.

Etymology. The specific epithet is derived from the Mount Omei, where the new species is found. The name is a noun in the nominative singular.
