Notes:— This name appears as a determination on two specimens at NY (NY4111821, NY4111822). Both read “ Triplaris meridensis Aristeguieta, Sp. nov. ined.” A note attached to both specimens by John Pruski indicates that the name had remained “Ined.” as of 1983. We have not found any publication of this name with a description.
