Kongsbergia (Kongsbergia) persica Pešić, 2005 ( Figs. 1A–G View FIGURE 1 A – G )

Material examined. Bingöl Province, Solhan , Masalla stream, 38°57'44"N 40°56'13"E, 1260 m asl., 18.vii.2010, (1/0/0) GoogleMaps .

Morphology. Male: Dorsal shield ( Fig. 1A View FIGURE 1 A – G ) L/W 321/174; ventral shield ( Fig. 1B View FIGURE 1 A – G ) L/W 364/211; gnathosoma 92; palp ( Figs. 1C–D View FIGURE 1 A – G ): total L 237, dL and %L (in parentheses): P-1 20 (8.4); P-2 62 (26.2); P-3 40 (16.9); P-4 79 (33.3); P-5 36 (15.2). Legs (in part Figs. 1E–G View FIGURE 1 A – G ): L of IV-L: 97, 90, 94, 76, 69, 95; ventral margin of IV-L-4 with two long setae; IV-L-5 with particular modifications in shape and setation as depicted in the figures, the proximal seta, L 50, the distal seta, L 48; ventral side of I-L-5 with one sword like seta.

Remarks. Due to the presence of a thickened, wavy-shaped proximal seta originating on a ventroproximal projection of IV-L-5, the distal sword-shaped seta exceeding distal margin of IV-L-5 and the ventral side of I-L-5 bearing one seta, the single male specimen from Turkey agrees with Kongsbergia persica , a species described from the hyporheic waters of Shahrestanak River in Tehran Province ( Iran, Elburs Mt., see Pešiċ et al. 2005).

Distribution. Iran. New for Turkey.
