Type species. Theridion breve Wider, 1834 ; gender feminine.
Remark. Genus Ceratinella comprises 28 species (including ten species known from females and one from males only) dwelling in Australia and in the Holarctic, of which three species have been reported from China (Beijing, Jilin, Liaoning and Yunnan) (WSC 2025).
