Distribution: Maluku, New Guinea ( Bakhuizen van den Brink, 1943).
Note: Bakhuizen van den Brink (1943) stated that the type (Zippel s.n.) in L was collected from New Guinea. In fact, based on the type in E and the protologue, the type was collected in the Moluccas ( Maluku Islands) ( Blume, 1831).
