MO: Rino 1972 [Maputo City: Maputo, in a puddle, next to the Maputo Airport roundabout, 3 February 1970, J. Rino 395-B; Maputo City: Maputo, Inhaca Island , small pond to the south-east of the Hotel, full of aquatic plants, 4 June 1970, J. Rino 471], as Trachelomonas playfairii Deflandre .
Note. In our opinion the illustration in Rino (1972: Pl. 8, figs. 2-3) is T. euchlora , which is similar to T. playfairii , but they differ in details of the collar.
