Ostorhinchus sealei (Fowler 1918) —Seale's cardinalfish ( Fig. 63 )

Status at New Ireland. New record, based on specimens photographed at Lissenung Island, Kavieng District by Dietmar Amon on 6 Aug. 2006, and at 8 m depth, by Dean Tully on 19 Sept. 2012 .

Distribution and habitat. New Ireland: 2.—General distribution: Indonesia east to Palau and New Guinea, south to northern Western Australia. Found near branching corals on sheltered reefs, 2–25 m depth. Marine.
