Diagnosis

For males, refer to Z. diatretum . Female specimens of Z. vanimpei can be distinguished from the closely related Z. beticum by a broader ridge with a shallower antero-median incision ( Figure 25J vs Figures 25F , 27E ).

Description

For a detailed description of the habitus and male palp, refer to Bosmans (1994). Epigyne. ( Figure 25J ) Epigyne similar to that of Z. beticum , but distinguished by a significantly robust, broader ridge with a shallower antero-median incision ( Figure 25J vs Figure 25F ). Epigyne with a large, deep antero-median copulatory opening.
