Rhizomes slender, creeping; scales on younger part only, light brown, broadly ovate, fringed with papillae. Leaves solitary, in two ranks, erect; petiole l |- 3 times as long as lamina, blackish-brown below, brownish-yellow above; lamina deltate; veins free.
