Usually branched, glabrescent, 20-80 cm; tuber cylindrical. Leaves 2-6(-9) cm, ovatetriangular; petioles up to l(-l-5)c m. Flowers 3-5(-6) cm, brownish or yellowish-green, limb brownish-purple; pedicels about equalling petioles. Capsule 1-5-3 cm, globose to pyriform. Mediterranean region, but rare in the east; Portugal.
