5-30 cm, erect or procumbent, often densely pubescent. Leaves up to 10 x 1 mm, crowded, alternate. Panicle dense in fruit. Perianth-segments 3(-5), pubescent on the back. Stamens 1-2. S.E. Russia, W. Kazakhstan. Rs (E). (W. & C. Asia.)
