Like 1 but rather taller; leaves 3-10, pseudoverticillate, linear; flowers in pedunculate umbellate cymes; perianth-segments obtuse. Sandy and gravelly places. S. Europe extending northwards to c. 52° N. in C. Russia. Bu G r Hs It Lu Rm Rs (C, W, K, E).
