Glabrous, laxly caespitose perennial 10-20 cm, with trailing woody stems. Leaves c. 0-5 mm wide, convolute, acuminate. Inflorescence usually simple. Epicalyx-scales 4, c. i as long as calyx, ovate, acuminate or cuspidate, coriaceous. Calyx 14-22x4-5- 5 mm, narrowed from above the middle, usually purple-tinged. Petal-limb 6-10 mm, obovate, dentate, glabrous or sparsely bearded. • S. Spain (Sierra de Antequera, Sierra de Ronda). Hs. Perhaps not specifically distinct from 47.
