Sect. Rigidulae (Boiss.) Schischkin .

Annual; stems branched, rigid, often filiform, viscid above. Cauline leaves usually fasciculate. Inflorescence very lax, composed of divaricately branched equal dichasia; pedicels usually 1-4 times as long as calyx. Calyx not inflated or contracted at m outh in fruit. Seeds broadly reniform, with flat or slightly convex faces.
