10-30 cm. Rhizome tuberous. Stem pubescent. Basal leaves suborbicular, with 3-5 shallow, obtuse, dentate lobes. Cauline leaves united at base, with 3-5 linear-lanceolate divisions. Flowers 1-2, 2-5-3-5 cm in diameter, yellow. Perianth-segments 10-15, oblong. S. W. Europe. Ga?Gr Hs Lu Sa Si.
