Involucral leaves similar to the lower cauline. Perianth-segments ovate-oblong, clawed, bluish. Lobes of lower lip of honey-leaves about as long as wide. Follicles united for all their length, forming an inflated 10-celled capsule, the 5 outer loculi sterile. S. Europe; frequently cultivated for ornament and more or less naturalized elsewhere.
