Stems up to 8 cm, stellately hairy below. Basal leaves 4-8 mm, oblanceolate, mostly entire, stellate-canescent and cibate; cauline leaves 0-2, often toothed. Inflorescence 3- to 12-flowered; petals 3-5-6- 5 mm; filaments slightly dilated at base. Silicula 6-10 cm, lanceolate-elliptical, glabrous; style 1 -2 mm; stigma capitate. Calcareous mountain rocks. • E. Alps. Au It Ju.

D. simonkaiana Jâv. , Bot. Közl. 9: 281 (1910), endemic to the S.E. Carpathians in Romania, differs from D. stellata in its smaller petals and its 2-lobed stigma. Its status is doubtful.
