Erect, up to 20(-30) cm, grey-pubescent. Leaves linearoblanceolate to obovate. Raceme elongate in fruit; pedicels 1-5-3 mm. Petals 1-2 mm, glabrous. Silicula 2-5 mm, obovateorbicular, elliptic-orbicular or orbicular, with a distinct wing, entire, pubescent or glabrous; style up to 0-25 mm. S. Europe. Variable in silicula size and pubescence but most of the variants occur sporadically throughout the range of the species. Some of these variants are recognized as subspecies by Breistroffer op. cit. (1936, 1946).
