Annual or biennial 40-60(-80) cm. Stems much-branched, with deflexed hairs in the lower part, glabrous above. Leaves mostly basal, pinnatipartite or pinnatisect; segments obtuse. Petals 7-9 mm, yellow. Siliqua 30-40 x 2-2- 5 mm, with short (0-5-1 mm), fleshy style; gynophore 1 mm. • Bare chalky slopes in Donets basin (N.E. Ukraine and adjacent parts of Russia). Rs (C, E).

The affinities of this species are uncertain.
