( Sinapis incana L. ).

Annual to perennial; stem up to 1 m, usually branched, leafy, densely white-hairy below. Lower leaves runcinate-pinnatifid, with an ovate, obtuse, shallowly dentate terminal lobe; the upper simple, sessile. Flowers c. 5 mm in diameter. Petals pale yellow, often with dark veins. Siliqua 8-17 x 1- 1-5 mm, erect and appressed to the stem, 2-valved; beak c. j as long as valves, swollen at base. Seeds 3-6 in each loculus. 5. Europe.
