Material examined. NEPAL: BAGMATI: 1 ♂: Bhairav Kunda Lekh, Ogache Danda, 27°56`10``N 85°50`53``E. 2950- 3100 m a.s.l., sieving. 16- 17.05.2011. J. Schmidt leg. ( NME); 1 ♂: above Serding, 27°38`29.1``N 86°23`00.9``E. 3712 m a.s.l., sieving in mixed dense forest with Rhododendron and Pinus . 07.05.2018. S. Hofmann leg. ( NME); 1 ♀: NE Jiri Chordung Danda, Burmuje Kharka, 27°43`51``N 86°19`39.1``E. 4051 m a.s.l., forest with Rhododendron . 15.05.2018. S. Hofmann leg. ( NME).

Remarks. Anthobium rugosum is known from India and Nepal ( Shavrin 2023). It is here recorded from Bagmati for the first time.
