Description of Duganella zoogloeoides HMF View in CoL 3907
Cells are Gram-staining-negative, flagellated, non-pigmented and rod-shaped. Colonies are circular, convex, entire and pale yellow-colored after 3 days of incubation on R2A at 30°C. Positive for cytochrome oxidase, esculin hydrolysis and β -galactosidase, but negative for arginine dihydrolase, gelatinase, glucose fermentation, indole production, nitrates reduction and urease in API 20NE test. L-Arabinose, D-maltose, malic acid, Dmannose, phenylacetic acid and trisodium citrate are utilized. Strain HMF3907 ( = NIBRBAC000497904) has been isolated from fresh water sample, Yongin, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.
