Collection information.

USA: Georgia (new state record): Clarke Co.: eight individuals from seven sites. Caught in flight trap from 2 June – 9 September 2020.

Distribution.

Eastern North America.

Saproxylic habits.

Larvae consume fungal material and rotting wood ( Payne 1931; Savely 1939); adults occur in deadwood of numerous hardwoods and pine ( Blackman and Stage 1924).
