Feeds on
Oligophagous on Petrosimonia , Salicornia , Salsola and Suaeda spp. ( Conci and Tamanini 1984 b, Burckhardt 1989). In Bulgaria, adults were collected on Salicornia europaea L. ( Klimaszewski 1961 a, Pramatarova et al. 2024), which is a probable host plant.
Distribution
General distribution. Southern and Eastern Europe, Caucasus, Middle East, Central Asia, Mongolia. Distribution in Bulgaria (Fig. 27 b View Figure 27 b ). Published records: BS ( Klimaszewski 1961 a), as Craspedolepta salicorniae ; ( Pramatarova et al. 2024). Material examined: BS.
Notes
Klimaszewski (1961 a) described Craspedolepta salicorniae Klimaszewski, 1961 as a new species from the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast (Burgas). According to Burckhardt (1989), C. salicorniae is a junior synonym of R. bicolor .
Diagnosis
