Perenne. Tallos de hasta 20(25) cm, carnosos, frágiles, glaucos, sin hojas en la parte superior. Flores rosadas, sin margen amarillo, dispuestas en racimos globosos. Estigma sin apéndice apical. Fruto aplanado, con la cara lateral membranosa y el margen grueso. 2 n = 28.
Gleras calizas móviles; por encima de 2000 m. VI-VII. S de la Península Ibérica y Marruecos. Sierras béticas. Esp.: Gr J.
