TYPE LOCALITY: Brazil, Bahia, Rio Mucuri, near Morro d'Arara .
DISTRIBUTION: E. Oaxaca and C. Veracruz ( Mexico) to C. and E. Brazil, Peru, Bolivia, French Guiana, Guyana, and Surinam; Trinidad.
