Collection information.
USA: Georgia: Clarke Co.: a single individual from one site. Caught in flight trap from 26 August – 9 September 2020.
Distribution.
Eastern North America, likely introduced in the western United States ( Goodrich and Springer 1999).
Saproxylic habits.
Larvae develop within polypores of Ganoderma lucidum (Curtis) P. Karst. ( Ganodermataceae ), and adults feed on a wider range of polypores ( Skelley et al. 1991).
