Notes: Schøyen (1887) mention one male specimen of Emphytus filiformis Klug collected by Ullmann from Kragerø. This specimen still exists in the collection at NHM, and clearly is an A. apicalis male. The hostplant is Rosa spp. ( Taeger et al., 1998).
