Material examined. Vietnam: Quảng Bình (Lệ Thủy, Lâm Thǔy)— Rattus type IV, Niviventer tenaster ( March 2017, 28 larvae).
Several species were not included in this list due to the fact that the authors failed to obtain original descriptions: these species were only mentioned in Dr. Chau’s PhD thesis (1994): Leptotrombidium sciuridum , L. spinosum , L. mocchauensis , and L. babeensis ; the same is true of L. blaoensis , L. vietnamensis , and Trombiculindus taynguyensis mentioned by Dat & Chau (2007).
