Notes. According to the most recent revision of the genus Lasius sensu stricto by Seifert (2020) this species complex includes six species, amongst which L. turcicus , L. neglectus , L. precursor and L. tapinomoides can be found in Greece ( Borowiec and Salata 2022).

However, L. turcicus , L. neglectus and L. precursor are hard to distinguish based on morphological characters.
