Sequences of the neotype BELUM Mc4438 were published by Morrow et al. 2012, GenBank accession nrs. HQ379199 View Materials , HQ379263 View Materials (28SrRNA) and HQ379410 View Materials (COI). Gazave et al. 2010 published sequences of an Irish specimen, accession nrs. GQ466051 View Materials (18SrRNA), and GQ466061 View Materials (28SrRNA), which is 99.39% similar to HQ379199 View Materials of the neotype. There are also unpublished COI sequences in GenBank, e.g. MT506489 View Materials –90, obtained from a Norwegian specimen, from Korsfjord, 59.81°N 5.60°E, 292 m depth submitted by Ulvatne et al. which is 100% similar to that of the neotype.
