Spongilla lacustris View in CoL
No sequences of the dried lectotype or paralectotype are available (as they have not been attempted so far). Robert et al. (2022: Table 1) provided sequences of Swedish populations of the present species, both 28SrRNA (GenBank accession nrs OL985644 View Materials – OL985670 View Materials ) and COI (GenBank accession nrs OL979182 View Materials – OL979207 View Materials ). Sequences of many other specimens from other localities and regions are available in the literature, e.g. sequences of an Irish specimen were published by Morrow et al. [2012, GenBank accession nr. HQ379327 View Materials and HQ379393 View Materials (28SrRNA) and HQ379421 (COI)]. German specimens were sequenced by Meixner et al. [2007, GenBank accession nrs. AJ843883 View Materials and DQ167176 View Materials (COI, voucher ZMB 12666) and AJ703890 View Materials and DQ167161 View Materials (18SrRNA)]. A North American specimen was sequenced by Addis & Peterson [2005, GenBank accession nr. AF121112 View Materials (18SrRNA)]. There also many ITS sequences available from GenBank.
