Type material examined. Holotype ♀: Guinea, Mifergui, ex syconia of Ficus artocarpoides , 6.v.1993, Rasplus J.-Y. leg. Deposited in CBGP. Paratypes: same data as holotype, 14♀.

Etymology. The specific name refers to the type locality in Guinea.

Diagnosis. Body female of mainly dark brown ( Fig. 39A View FIGURE 39 ). Flagellum with fu2–fu4 longer than broad, fu5 as long as broad ( Fig. 39B View FIGURE 39 ). Mesoscutum densely coriaceous with sparse umbilicate punctures ( Fig. 40A View FIGURE 40 ). Propodeum with a distinct smooth median band and a short median carina ( Fig. 40B View FIGURE 40 ). Gaster compressed laterally, dorsally angulate ( Fig. 40D View FIGURE 40 ).

Description of holotype ♀ ( Figs 39–40 View FIGURE 39 View FIGURE 40 ). Length 3.68 mm. Body black or dark brown ( Fig. 39A View FIGURE 39 ), except gaster ventrally, pronotum anterolaterally and femora distally brown and tibia, tarsomeres, femora distally, scape yellowish; antennal mostly dark brown ( Fig. 39B View FIGURE 39 ); fore wing with a dark brown spot below mv ( Fig. 40E View FIGURE 40 ); lower margin of mv obscured by dark brown spot, dark brown spot reaching base of mv; megastar uniformly coloured.

Head 1.3× as broad as high [HW 260 & HH 200] ( Fig. 39C View FIGURE 39 ); in dorsal view transverse, 2× as broad as long [HW 260 & HL 130] ( Fig. 39D View FIGURE 39 ); face coriaceous with sparse punctures, vertex mostly coriaceous; malar space 0.45× length of eye [ms 45 EH 101]; malar sulcus distinct, straight ( Fig. 39C View FIGURE 39 ); lower margin of gena sinuous, edged but not carinate; antennal toruli widely separated, interantennal space not raised, carinate laterally; scrobal depression smooth, reaching the median ocellus, not carinate on margin; POL 1.47× as long as OOL [POL 50 & OOL 34] ( Fig. 39D View FIGURE 39 ); temple rounded, 0.23× the eye length (in dorsal view) [TL 26 & EL 112].

Antenna. Scape not reaching median ocellus, 3.42× as long as broad [SL 82 & SW 24]; fu1 1.72× as long as broad [fu1L 50 & fu1W 29], distinctly longer than pedicel, bulging dorsally; funicular (fu2–fu4) with two or three rows of mps; fu2–fu4 slightly longer than broad; fu5 as long as broad ( Fig. 39B View FIGURE 39 ).

Mesosoma weakly arched dorsally, 1.45× as long as wide (165:115), with superficial sculpture ( Fig. 40A View FIGURE 40 ); pronotum with sparse umbilicate punctures; mesodiscrimen with a ring-like process, adjacent to mesocoxa; mesoscutum 0.5× as long as wide (55:110), 0.6× longer than length of pronotal collar (55:95), sparsely umbilicate, coriaceous-reticulate anteriorly; notauli conspicuous, slightly obliterated by mesoscutum sculpture; prepectus bare, with raised sculpture; mesoscutellum distinctly umbilicate laterally and coriaceous medially; propodeum ( Fig. 40B View FIGURE 40 ) with deep median depression, with a smooth median band, without any median carina, lateral rows of areolae long and extending at least over posterior half of propodeum, inverted U-shaped basal carina, lateral branches relatively straight, width of basal carinae less than 0.5× width of nucha.

Fore wing with short marginal fringe, apically subtruncate (pointed anteriorly); dark brown spot below mv; basal cell bare or nearly so; mv slightly enlarged, normally broadened, in lower margin concave, stv curved up; pmv not distinct; ventral side of costal cell sparsely setose, dorsally bare; speculum present; parastigmal bristles absent ( Figs 40E, F View FIGURE 40 ).

Legs. Fore coxa without depression on frontal surface, hind coxa bare basodorsally; fore (30:11) and hind femora (40:15); hind tibia dorsally with more 10 setae, setae shorter than tibia width basally.

Metasoma. Petiole shorter than broad dorsally, ventral transverse carina between petiole and St1 present. Metasoma 1.5× as long as wide (165:110) ( Fig. 40C View FIGURE 40 ), longer than mesosoma, strongly compressed laterally and dorsally angulate ( Fig. 40D View FIGURE 40 ); ventral transverse carina between petiole and St1 present; petiole in dorsal view not longer than wide, shorter than half-length of hind coxa; tergites finely sculptured; Gt4 (in lateral view) slightly as long as Gt3, sinuous posteriorly; Gt5 mostly covering Gt6, sinuous posteriorly; ovipositor upturned ( Fig. 40C View FIGURE 40 ).

Male. Unknown.

Variation. Length 2.41–4.05 mm.
